The Study Plus curriculum is a compulsory part of your studies. Study Plus provision for post 16 learners covers communication, numeracy and ICT from Entry Level to Level 3 of the National Qualifications Framework. All full-time students are given the opportunity to improve or consolidate the range of skills required by universities and employers alike. Focussing on communication, numeracy and ICT with options to develop skills in areas like working with others, problem solving or improving your own learning. Developing these skills compliments and supports both academic and vocational programme areas with embedded opportunities to provide evidence for assessment. Students negotiate an individual programme that takes into account any prior achievement or current study. Performance is measured through key skills or national tests that may also include the completion of a portfolio that demonstrates competence.
